| Internet-Engine Study, Shows E-Commerce Sites Leading
Libertyville, Illinois - (Website Hosting Directory) - January 30, 2007 - Internet-Engine's analyzed search results, featuring Google, Yahoo and MSN, found that big box retailer sites were represented in only five percent of the searches. San Marcos trails draw residents from near and far
SAN MARCOS ---- Whenever Craig Sargent-Beach needs professional inspiration, he straps on his hiking boots and hits one of the city's more than 46 miles of walking trails that loop around reservoirs, switch back over brushy ridgelines or provide a safe path to school or work ---- all away from San Marcos surface streets."In terms of the master trail plan, a number of people come up to me and say they can't believe so many trails have been built," said Sargent-Beach, who helped design the city's 1991 Master Trail Plan that calls for 72 miles of interlinked footpaths. "They say, 'I never thought it would happen when it was approved.' " Nine more miles of trails are under construction, and plans for seven more have been approved. .
MPC OKs application for Allendale grocery
The Shreveport Metropolitan Planning Commission has approved an application to rezone an area in the Allendale neighborhood for a proposed grocery.
The application from Claude Marshall, who owns the site at 1901 Alston St., had asked for the multifamily residential area to be rezoned to a neighborhood business district.
